About Us

Jamesburg Public Schools is a PreK-8 district in Middlesex County.  We have approximately 720 students shared between two buildings.  JFK Elementary School houses our students in preschool through grade 5.  Grace M. Breckwedel Middle School houses our students in grades 6-8.  The majority of our students attend Monroe Township High School or the Middlesex County Magnet Schools.

Jamesburg Public Schools staff members work to support students and each other on a daily basis.  JFK Elementary School was selected as a recipient of the 2021 National Blue Ribbon Schools Program as an Exemplary Achievement Gap Closing School.  Schools in this category have made significant advances in closing subgroup achievement gaps in English/Language Arts and Mathematics over the previous three to five years.  We are proud of the students and staff at JFK School for this achievement.

We are in the process of new construction, adding eight new classrooms to our facilities with additional room for expansion.  This work is anticipated to be completed by February 2027.  In summer 2025, we had a separate renovation project which updated our facilities adding a self-contained music room, four small group instruction rooms, and a new faculty room to our elementary school.

Jamesburg Public Schools is a great place to work and learn!
