About The Jamesburg Public School District Web Site
Our Story:
The Jamesburg Public School District web site was created early in 1998
by two students attending the Grace M. Breckwedel Middle School; Jeffrey Harris
and Thomas C. Bodall. They were trained with some knowledge that their computer teacher, Mrs. Mary Ellen Claps,
could offer them to get a basic page set up. Then Jeff and Tom took it upon themselves to
create a site for this small school community. This site made its debut on the internet April 7, 1998
at the address http://members.bellatlantic.net/~gmbjfk, and has evolved greatly since then,
including the acquisition of the domain name www.jamesburg.org.
The site was redesigned and reconstructed by Tom during the
summer of 1998 and once again in May of 2002. Our current design is constantly evolving.
The Jamesburg Schools thank one of our original founding fathers, Jeffrey Harris, for all the hard
work and dedication he put into this site. Good luck with all your endeavors Jeff!
Our Mission:
The mission of the Jamesburg Public Schools Online is to provide both
the parents and the student with knowledge about our school system and
keep everyone up-to-date about current events and activities that take
place day to day in our schools and surrounding community. The pages on our site are filled with
information about teaching staff, meeting dates, reminders about
activites, team schedules, classroom information, and much, much, more!
Site Maitenance:
Our site is maintained by a former Jamesburg Schools alumnus and Monroe High School graduate,
Thomas C. Bodall. He currently is attending Rowan University.
The site is updated frequently with new events and news. The site is hosted by Comcast Cable System.
