Grace M. Breckwedel Student Council
The Grace M. Breckwedel Student Council is composed of five elected officers and was established
in 1998. Elected positions include President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Historian.
These positions are chosen by a student body majority vote. Candidates may make signs and
campaign a couple days before the election takes place.
The council works together with classroom representivities from the homerooms to make our school atmosphere brighter and function more smoothly. The council sponsors programs such as Jamesburg Cleanup Day and the eighth grade class trip to Washington D.C. The Student Council also holds bake sales, breakfasts, and spaghetti dinners during the year. The student council is advised by GMB science teacher Mrs. Josephine Madden.
